Naxos Activities
Outdoor sports and activities are popular on Naxos, especially those that have to do with the ocean. Windsurfing, sailing, fishing, scuba diving, and beach volley ball are all very popular.
And for those who want some time away from the water, the island also offers opportunities for horse riding, go-cart stage, tennis courts, mountain biking, and a lot of hiking.
Perhaps the most popular island sport is windsurfing, and you will find many shops in Chora Naxos dedicated to the sport. One of the windsurfing schools is located at Parthena beach at Mikri Vigla (5km from Faros) excellent beach area for kite surfing and windsurfing.

Naxos has many wonderful beaches and some of the best in Greece! There are several beaches, most of them with thin, white sand.

Faros Villa is located next to one of the eight cedar forests of Greece (Alyko- Naxos), protected are by the EU program Natura 2000.
