About us

Our family originally coming from “Filoti”, which is the biggest village of the island at the bottom of mountain Zeus. We stood very lucky back in 1987 when “Elias” the head of our family, bought this land in this blessed area. The beauty of nature, the pristine ground and the crystal clear waters of Alyko were ideal even without a special plan. The next year the house was built and run without public electricity. (with a small generator)

Five years later, 2 of the 4 boys of the family now fully grown up, decided to have the place to be grown up too, as it was necessary for our guests also. So was done in 1992 and we started our restaurant, Faros tou Alykou (the lighthouse of Alyko). Since that time mama Eirini is cooking homemade food for Faros guests and Naxian people as well.

The rooms and the restaurant made the place more comfortable and easier to stay here for longer, but still something was missing to make it complete…so in 1999, we decide to create the swimming pool with a bar. This was a great expense for that time but definitely worth it!

Since those days, step by step we are improving our services and knowledge, to make your stay with us, a unique and memorable experience!

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. Take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.

All Bookings at the Hotel are subject to these Terms. At the time of booking or at check-in, we will take your credit/debit card details and you authorize the use of this card for any sums that become owing to us. We shall also have the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking in certain circumstances or if the Booking includes the supply of certain items or services. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided.

Check-in time is from 15:00pm. Early check-in cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability. Check-out time is 11:00pm. Late check-out, is subject to availability and charges may apply.

Guest Behavior
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Hotel’s procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

All children (a person under 16 years of age) staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

-For any cancellation that takes place at least 31 days before the arranged arrival date, the whole deposit will be refunded and there are no cancellation fees.
-For any cancellation that takes place 30 to 21 days prior to the arranged arrival date, there will be a 50% cancellation penalty fee or the deposit will not be refunded.
-For any cancellation that takes place 20 days or less prior to the arrival date of the guest, the total amount of the stay is charged.
-In case of non-show, there will be a full payment fee.
-In case of departure prior to the arranged date, there will be a cancellation fee for 100% of the remaining stay.
